Chapter 1 · Rice masks
Did you come from one of my videos?
A video fits one recipe. Here is the complete method.
In 40 seconds I show you one recipe, without measurements and without the precautions. In the book each one has its own page: what you need, how to make it, how long to leave it on and what to avoid. Masks, toners, exfoliation and nighttime care, organized by chapter, so you can open it and know exactly what to do today.
You don't have bad skin. You have the wrong recipe, made once in a while.
Skin gets drier and feels tight. It loses its glow and looks dull. Your face wakes up puffy and tired. Then comes the $80 jar from the pharmacy, which promises a lot and ends up forgotten in a drawer. Or the pretty recipe from the internet, made on Sunday and forgotten on Monday. What Korea does differently is not a product: it is a sequence. Cleanse without being harsh, rice essence, the right mask for your skin and seal in at night. Repeated. That is the secret of porcelain skin, and it trips up on three mistakes:
1
The wrong recipe for your skin
The mask that works for oily skin leaves dry skin tight; the one for dry skin feels heavy on oily skin. That is why every recipe in the book says who it is for, and the patch test on your arm comes before every new recipe.
2
Doing it once and quitting
A Sunday mask doesn't change your skin. Repeating it does. With 50 recipes, one per page, you choose based on what you have in the kitchen and repeat the one your skin liked.
3
Scrubbing, leaving it on too long, mixing everything
Exfoliating hard, letting the mask dry until it feels tight, using acids during the day. Each page gives the right timing, how to apply it and the care that matters.
Who it's for
This book is for you if…
your skin feels duller and less firm than before
you wake up with a puffy, tired-looking face
you want to care for your skin naturally, without looking artificial
you've already spent on expensive jars and saw no difference
you prefer kitchen recipes with supermarket ingredients
you want a new recipe every week, without getting lost
you have 10 minutes per recipe, not 1 hour
you're over 60 and think your moment has passed
It's not for you if you're looking to treat a skin condition: inflamed acne, rosacea, dermatitis and melasma are for the dermatologist. And it's not a cosmetic procedure: it's care at home.
What's in the book

If you made it this far, you have probably already seen me in my videos making skin recipes in my kitchen.
I grew up in Koreatown, in Los Angeles, in a Korean family, among Koreans and Latinos. My grandmother had an aesthetics clinic in Seoul, and much of what she did there used what was in the kitchen: rice, green tea, honey, yogurt.
This book gathers the 50 recipes I use most, one per page, with exact measurements and precautions, so you can choose yours and repeat it.
I only ask one thing of you: do the patch test before every new recipe. Every skin is unique, and what works for me may not work for you.

Frequently asked questions
Do-Yun answers.
Is this just another recipe from the internet?
It is a kitchen recipe, yes, and that is why it promises no miracles: no "10 years younger" or "goodbye Botox". What the book does is organize: 50 recipes with exact measurements, the right timing, who each one is for and the patch test before every new recipe. If it is not for you, you have a 60-day guarantee and I refund all your money.
I already saw the recipe in the video. Why buy it?
The video shows one recipe, once, without measurements and without the precautions. The book has all 50, each on its own page, separated by chapter, with what you need, how to make it, how long to leave it on and what to avoid. It is consistency that changes how skin looks, not a single mask. And the 2 bonuses are included: the 21-night plan and 24 beauty teas and drinks.
I'm over 60. Will it still work for me?
The recipes are designed with mature skin in mind: oats, honey, yogurt, rice water and nighttime care. With consistency, what you can expect is glow, hydration and a more rested, even look. Results vary from person to person.
Does it remove wrinkles? Does it replace Botox or a procedure?
No, and I won't promise that: Botox and procedures are a conversation with your dermatologist. What the routine gives, night after night, is something else: skin that feels softer, more glow and hydration, and a face that wakes up looking rested instead of puffy. No needles and no looking artificial.
What ingredients do I need?
All from the supermarket: rice, rice flour, honey, oats, yogurt, green tea, chamomile, cucumber, papaya, aloe, white clay, almond oil. Each recipe has three ingredients at most, and the page tells you what you need.
My skin is sensitive. Can I make them?
Each recipe comes with the patch test on your arm: 10 minutes that show you whether your skin accepts it. If you have rosacea, dermatitis or inflamed acne, use acids or are pregnant, show the book to your dermatologist first.
How do I receive it? Is it safe?
It is a digital book: access to all 3 books arrives in your email as soon as payment is approved, to read on your phone or print. Nothing is shipped by mail. Payment is processed by Stripe, a secure payment platform: a single payment, no monthly fee, and with a 60-day guarantee.
